'Unearthing'

This work will be exhibited throughout May 2026 at 169 Preston Drove as part of the Brighton Open houses.
House no.2 on the Fiveways trail.
This series of work is deeply rooted in the physical transformation of nature into paper. Exploring the ephemeral beauty in decay of the autumn leaves, the work simultaneously reflects on the faded glory of ancient frescoes. The pieces often focus on the soul or essence of the plants preserved. Within these I am exploring change, passage of time, mortality and renewal.
